Adventure Awaits

Adventure is all around you, from the trips you take with friends and family, to the little adventures you can have on a quiet day in your very own backyard.  (Trust me, I have been quite surprised at some of the things I’ve found very near where I live.)

I’ve never been a huge adventurer or an adrenaline junkie, but I have begun exploring a little more in the past couple of years and I usually have my phone handy with me when I do… I mean, you never know when you might need it… like the one time I was driving to my favorite park and I ended up needing it to call in about a rabid raccoon… but that’s another story.  Usually my phone is there to capture all of the awesome things I’ve been lucky enough to encounter when I unplug (to a degree) and get out and find an adventure.

I’ve really enjoyed sharing my writing on my other blog and I usually post pictures there, but not everyone wants to read poetry and sometimes I don’t have a good idea to write any poems, so I’m making this space to share all the images I happen to capture while I’m out exploring because sometimes you don’t need a lot of words.  (Unlike that last sentence.)  After all, a picture is worth a thousand of them right?
